I am a regular substitute pianist for the David Rasmussen's 18 piece Big Band based out of Wilmington MA.  They play some modern arrangements of classics and it is such a wonderful opportunity to play in a large jazz ensemble with some excellent musicians.  I can only imagine big band playing will be an opportunity hard to come by in the future.
