Brief Biography |
I was raised in CheJu, South Korea, playing piano and studying music as early as I can remember. Being raised in a musical family my interests in music were highly encouraged and supported. After completing my degree in music composition from the prestigious Ewha Woman’s University, Seoul, South Korea, I began working at a prominent Korean music publishing company developing and editing music arrangements. |
After over 10 years of living in Boston, I finally returned to Korea for a visit. I was fortunate to perform with a Premier Traditional Korean Arts Organization. Have a listen to the piano mixed with the unique timber and spirit filled playing of a traditional wind flute.
I was the longtime music director at the First Congregational Church in Belmont, MA. I am currently the piano accompanist for the Boston-based women’s chorus ‘Voices Rising’. I am heading the Stars and Moon Music School and performing music regularly locally.
